Sustainability in a multicultural society
In Graphic Design II, students took on the issue of sustainability but on a small scale. Instead of the usual rhetorical questions and condemnations, students were challenged to propose a solution that is both creative and practical which can bring about change in a local community. A practical solution, Chin Wei Hao proposed an informative napkin that can be used to wrap around a paper cup.

Sustainability in a multicultural society
Student Tan Wen Chuan proposed a shopping bag that carefully balances between multi-ethnic and multi-cultural Singapore and his visual and aesthetics solution took in a hand-made shopping bag.

Sustainability in a multicultural society
Students Khoo Li Ying proposed the Japanese concept of "suika tsutsumi" of making one's own bag with a few simple folds. Instructions were clearly spelled out on the bag. Wong Ka Man presented a design that uses typographical treatment with bold fiery red for an impactful delivery of her recycling messages.

What makes the wearer feel, think or act in a specific way?
Students are answer the question, "What makes the wearer feel, think or act in a specific way" by creating a series of images that convey the same message to three different audiences in an underwear package design assignment.
They may pick a current brand for either gender or they may fictitiously create their own brand. The final solution, with emphasis on the effectiveness of the chosen images, as well as logical and effective applications of dimensional design must be well executed and it must reflect a good understanding of how the same message can be sold to three very different audiences.
