Ripping through the paper which formed the symbol of a woman, the message is that any woman in a marginalized society must first fight her internal struggle in order to receive any external help that may be available out there for her. The paper symbolizes the layer between a woman and her external world and the colors on her nails are henna which shows her status as a married woman which often faces blatant discrimination.
