Imprisoned for 27 years, President Nelson Mandela has become synonymous with social justice and human rights liberation. This poster wishes to express the quote from the iconic leader that with education comes empowerment which becomes a powerful weapon that can be used to change the world. Hidden underneath the guts of the struggling figure are silhouettes of weaponry which symbolizes an ominous form of weapon but with education, one becomes enlightened and liberated.

This is the 2nd entry for the Poster for Tomorrow 2011 edition with the theme The Right To Education, submitted on June 7, 2011.
