We all are familiar with the ripple effect or domino effect. The domino Effect is a phenomenon where a chain of consequences is created by a single event. Although this line of thinking pertained to the Vietnam war which the US government used to justify its intervention in Vietnam because if they allow Vietnam become a communist nation, neighboring countries would then fall into communist revolution as well. However, in this case, what happened in Fukushima, Japan has rallied the world to come together to help their Japanese brother because as a globalized world, what affects one affects everyone as suggested in the blueish water droplets which became reddish as it neared the alarming red zone, which is also used to visually represent the nation of Japan.

This poster for Project Sunshine for Japan submitted on May 31, 2011, is a competition by a group of artists and designers looking forward to help Japan organizing exhibitions worldwide. Proceeds from the sale of the posters will be donated to The Red Cross, as a monetary support for the recovery of Japan.
