The Han Cultural Society (Singapore) is formed by a group of Han culture revival enthusiasts. The main objectives are to disseminate Pre-Manchurian Han culture, rituals, rites and knowledge; to promote awareness of traditional Hanfu clothing dating back from Xia (2700 BCE) to Ming Dynasties (1644 CE); to support worthy traditional Chinese ideologies and values such as filial piety and loyalty to the nation for a more comprehensive multi-cultural society; to further the development of cultural bonds by strengthening the relationship with the various social groups, cultural associations and Han culture worldwide; and to work towards a harmonious world and promote dialogues between different cultural societies for a peaceful co-existence of different ethnic groups.

The group filed an application with the Ministry of Registry in Singapore in May 2011 to become an officially recognized society. The process takes up to 2 months to approve. In the meantime, some ideas for the logos are floated at a restaurant in Singapore's Chinatown for a meeting on May 29, 2011 to select a logo for the society.
