The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEO) invited designers around the world to create and submit their best logo design for the World Environment Day (WED) 2015 campaign. The basic logo composition must include the following: the UNEP logo, the campaign title "World Environment Day 5 June and the slogan "Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care."

As a symbolic representation of nature, a giant tree formed out of abstract shapes of human beings is an idea to suggest that human beings are very much an integral part of nature. As we inherently shape the universe either by exploring, exploiting or protecting it, we are all involved and are responsible to continuously protect nature so that as our population continues to grow, we can continuously sustain this one and only planet we call home. In the logo, there are 7 main branches to represent 7 billion dreams and there are 9 "heads" that represent the 9 zeros necessary in mathematically representing a billion.

This logo is my 1st attempt which was submitted on April 19, 2015.
